Shipping within the Continental United States

At checkout, you will be asked to select your method of shipping. Shipping Cost is based on order weight and size of shipment. We currently offer delivery within the continental United States through four services: USPS Priority Mail, UPS Ground Services, UPS Second Day Air and UPS Next Day Air Saver (Next Business Afternoon).

UPS Next Day Air is only available Monday through Friday. Next Day delivery orders placed on Thursday after 12PM (ET) through Friday 12PM (ET) will arrive on Monday. Overnight delivery is currently NOT available to areas outside of the continental US or Canada. All online weekend orders will be sent out on Monday, for Tuesday delivery.

For UPS Next Day Air, your order MUST be received and clear credit authorization by 12:00PM (ET) or your order may not be processed until the following business day. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding federal holidays within the United States.

Shipping outside of the Continental United States (Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands) and Canada

Customer/Gift Recipient will be responsible for all additional duties and taxes applicable to shipments of merchandise to locations outside the United States. Saltbox does not ship to APO Addresses.

Order/Shipment Confirmation

After ordering you will receive two email confirmations from Saltbox Accessories. First, we will confirm receipt of your order and then you will receive an additional when your order ships that includes your tracking information.

Saltbox will collect sales tax on all purchases of merchandise to be shipped to locations within New York State.  Users are responsible for all sales taxes and other taxes, if any, applicable to merchandise shipped to locations outside New York State.  The rate of sales tax applicable to all merchandise shipped to locations within New York State will be the rate applicable in New York, New York at the time of purchase.  You and/or the recipient will be solely responsible for any duties or customs charges imposed on all purchases of merchandise shipped to locations outside the United States.

We hope you love the item you receive. If, for any reason, you would like to return or exchange the item, we are happy to replace it with another selection or refund the credit card used for the purchase. All exchanges and returns must be made within 30 days from the order date. Item must be returned in new and resalable condition. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. If your item was a gift, you are welcome to exchange it. If the item you choose is of lesser value you will receive a site credit for the difference. If it is of greater value, you will be charged for the difference. You may also simply return the item for site credit.

To return your item:

  1. Please email us at for a Return Authorization number (RA#). Do not send anything without obtaining this preauthorization as it insures that we are expecting your package and will process your return.
  2. 1)Pack your item well and add your RA# to the provided shipping label. For your security, please use an insured courier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, USPS Parcel Post) and retain your receipt. Saltbox Accessories is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit.
  3. Once your return package is received, it will be inspected and processed. You will be refunded in the same method you originally paid and will receive an email confirming the credit or exchange. If your item was a gift, your refund will be in the form of a site credit. Please allow 3-5 business days for your return to be processed. If your original payment was made via credit card, your refund may take until your next billing cycle to appear on your statement, please check with your issuing bank if you have questions.
  4. We cannot refund shipping charges on returned items. If you are requesting the exchange of an item, Saltbox is happy to ship the exchanged item at no charge.

ALL SALE ITEMS are non-returnable, FINAL SALE.

FINAL SALE includes any items for which a discount of 30% (or higher) was given.

Items purchased during any “FREE Shipping” Promotion

Original shipping costs will be deducted from your refund amount if any returned items were purchased during any FREE shipping promotions.

Damaged, Missing or Incorrect items

All items are inspected and carefully packed at our shipping location in Cheshire, CT. All damages, missing items or incorrect shipments must be reported within 7 calendar days of receipt. Please email us at, and we will give you instructions on preparing the package, which may include a UPS return label to use. If the item proves to be defective, we will send a replacement or issue a refund for the cost of the item and original shipping costs.

Saltbox collects customer information to process orders, to keep our customers informed of new products, services & sales, to improve the contents of our Website, and to enhance your overall shopping experience. We have incorporated into this site certain features designed to safeguard information that we obtain from you.  For example, when you are asked to enter certain sensitive information (such as a credit card number), that information is protected with encryption software.
